2.Business System Analyst
Job Purpose:
Work with the businesses and key functional areas in identifying and implementing the restructuring programs required as a result of the implementation of an imaging workflow solution and a move to a shared services operating platform.
Develop and deliver training material and desktop procedures to new and existing users
Responsibilities:
- Identify and agree the organizational changes required to support new operating platform.
- Develop detailed implementation plans to ensure the seamless transition to new operating platform.
- Ensure that local legal & regulatory requirements are understood and complied with.
- Develop role profiles for new roles and conduct first line review of CVs.
- Develop, agree and deliver training materials to new and existing users.
- Develop and agree desktop procedures and business process flows for all in-scope processes.
- Track and report on benefits realization.
- Liaise with appropriate functional areas to ensure that delivery environment is prepared in time for service delivery.
- Assist users in collation, validation, analysis and reporting of service performance metrics.
- Track, manage and report on issues, risks, audit actions and incidents.
- Facilitate business users in prioritizing their requirements taking into account project priorities, transaction volumes, processing frequencies, quality requirements, dependencies, regulations, compliance, audit requirements and business objectives.
- Ensure that changes are managed and approved in accordance with project methodology.
- Ensure that business processes are defined in order that efficiency, quality, control, regulatory and other important requirements can be met.
- To challenge existing practices and processes where changes are needed as a result of new system implementation and operating platform.
Requirement:
- Degree holder with major in IT, Insurance or business
- 5 years' working experience, at least 2 years industry experience
- Knowledge of general insurance processes and terminology
- Experience in transitioning services to a shared services operating model (offshore transitions a plus)
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Fluent (verbal and written) language capability in English/Chinese
